Hello Guys

Since we're all here talking about starsat and starcom receivers .. why don't we organize this place so we could get all information much easier ,

Also for anyone who comes here searching for an updates for his receiver .. he can find it much more quickly if we organize out topics in the following way :

we can make separate topic for each receiver .. to write there all new updates and news and problems related to it .. ex: ( Topic for : 3100-550D-3500cuci )

and we can all help each other updating the information in those topic each one of us in his receiver topic

Is it possible to do that ?

I will be waiting for your replies ..

It a good idea.
I have a question about the software upgrades. why the details of the modification implemented in the update is not informed? it will be great help if little details re provided. e.g. for Strong receiver's update they mention the showtime, ART, pehla etc are unlocked for you....

yes I agree with you .. it will be much easier if they provide us what channels each software can open,

It's possible to know I guess through opening the keys box .. but not all id provided in there are active !!

Hi Guys,

I guess... only guess that all of you know me somehow or if don't, let me introduce myself. I am admin of this website and responsible for everything here. I always welcome suggestions from you guys as it will help us improve this website. I am yet not so active in the forum because, there is still development work going at the backend and my focus is on the programming thing.

Now coming towards the topic. This website is one team show and not directly connected and restricted to only starsat or starcom receivers. The intention of my team and me is to extend it to other satellite receivers as well but till date we have got only one primary affiliation and that is with satdw.com and that is the reason you see only their softwares here. As we are only authorize to download softwares from their website and publish them here, we can not force them to provide us with the details of every software. But of course I have forwarded this request. As far as a different category for starcom receivers is concern, we can not do it until we got affiliation with any other satellite receiver software website. Only then we can make a separate category for both the receivers or as many we gets.

Anyway, I appreciate that you guys are posting suggestions and I assure you guys that every suggestion you post here is noticed and we put it in our development pipeline.

First of all I'd like to thank you for the all information you gave us and I wish all the best for this forum.

It's even better to know that there will be other receivers in this forums in the coming days ,

we have two points in this topic :

1- to orgenize our topics by giving each kind of receivers a seperated topic and prevent repeating the same quistion or problem ( this will help every one in general ) .. and this point has nothing to do with satdw .. but it's related to the adminstration of this forum

2- the point which is related to the satdw was about providing us with all channels each software can break , and we only hope that satdw consider this in the future.

Again Usman .. Thank you very much .. we really appriciate all things you said and I'd be more than happy to do what it takes to give a hand making this forum gets bigger and bigger.
